Rebacked, wear to board edges; title page creased; pl. 13 with marginal tear, scattered small stains/finger soiling (mostly marginal); very good or better. This is a reissue of the original 1822 edition. It has 42 rather than 43 plates; it seems that given the popularity of the work the later issues were often done without a plate or two. This copy with modern bookplate of Norman and Janey Buchan. Tooley 37.
