Venice: Ad signum Spei, 1551. 4to (25.5 x 18 cm), 190 numbered leaves. Title page with hand-colored engraved printer's device, woodcut initials throughout. Numerous blocks of text (preliminary text on verso of title page, and in other instances with the heading "censura" or "ad lectorum") marked out with brown ink (in the case of the verso of the first leaf, the ink bleed-through has marred the title page). Bound in contemporary limp vellum, chipped at edges and spine, with library call number pencilled on front. Some leaves damaged at fore-edge, but the text block is not affected.
